An exceptionally delicate black tea with soft body and almost no tannic bite. Fine and graceful in the cup, it will especially appeal to drinkers who enjoy gentler Darjeeling styles.

OUR STORY

From market stall to leading tea retailer

The Art of Tea began in 2000 with twelve varieties, sold from a stall at Hobart's Salamanca Market every Saturday.

Twenty-five years on, we still blend by hand in small batches — right here in Tasmania, now with over 150 teas and herbal blends to explore.

Home grown Black tea is an increasingly rare genuine Oz grown product. Clean Different.
One day it’ll be priceless. Maduras gone Nerada I gave up on it away years back..
Ignore any complainers re the taste style look cost etc…

I ordered Tasmania Tea instead of Tasmania Premium Tea. If you like a very mellow weaker tea you will enjoy this (gave 3 star as it is not my style of tea). My next order will be back to the premium which is 5 star, fuller bodied & stronger. Great service & delivery as always.

Daughter has recently started drinking tea and loves the delicate flavour of this tea compared to other teas she had tried.

I just love this tea. It has an unusual, delicate & distinctive flavour. It is a bit similar to Yunnan Pu'er tea.
I need to always have a supply!

Reminds me of some Japanese tea I've had. It has a very strong Umami flavour going. I absolutely love it.

And its waaay cheaper than getting Japanese black teas, which aren't usually found outside of Japan. Gonna be getting a lot of this instead.
