OUR STORY

From market stall to leading tea retailer

The Art of Tea began in 2000 with twelve varieties, sold from a stall at Hobart's Salamanca Market every Saturday.

Twenty-five years on, we still blend by hand in small batches — right here in Tasmania, now with over 150 teas and herbal blends to explore.

I'm so happy with my choice of this tea. I enjoy a tea that is strong and well rounded in flavour, smells devine and looks like tea. This is a tea I will savour on many occasions. Thankyou.

It was with great anticipation that I warmed my pot, dropped a heaped spoonful of tea leaves, steeped for 4 mins and then poured....
The scent that came of the tea promised great things...
The first mouthful did not fail to enliven the taste buds...
the satisfaction of a well brewed wholesome tea, that provides an essence of bonhomie.....
Until the last drop...
A full flavoured, rounded tea that does not disappoint!
