Fill your kitchen with the heart-warming spice of our unique, light to medium-bodied blend. Aromatic cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, clove and nutmeg mingle to merge a mid-strength and lower-caffeine alternative to our stronger Indian chai.

A perfect blend of Australian and Indian black teas and our signature chai spice mix, it’s a comforting blend that evokes thoughts of wintery afternoons spent indoors with the family. An indulgent cup of comfort that’s as good as a hug.

OUR STORY

From market stall to leading tea retailer

The Art of Tea began in 2000 with twelve varieties, sold from a stall at Hobart's Salamanca Market every Saturday.

Twenty-five years on, we still blend by hand in small batches — right here in Tasmania, now with over 150 teas and herbal blends to explore.

I love the Australian Chai. I let mine steep mine for 5 minutes and add a dash of milk and teaspoon of honey - Delish!

Wonderful chai a distinctive flavour. I've tried major commercial as well as artisan blends and this is the best. Well recommended.

This lovely Chai reminds me of a picnic in the bush sitting around a campfire. Great flavours of cinnamon, pepper berries and cardamon. Bliss!

This is my wife's absolute favourite, nothing makes her day than starting with a cup of this fantastic flavoured tea.

I love this Australian Chai tea and drink it often as my morning cuppa with a bit of milk as it's a more 'delicate' way to wake me up :)! Been by 'go to' for a while and my friends who like chai have often requested it to cleanse the pallet after a meal. I like the smoother tea flavour and more subtle spices than the often stronger Indian chai. So, if you like chai but want a less brash one I'd recommend you try it :) It goes really well with raisin toast or toasted banana bread... Yum :)!
