Tasting Notes

A bold Chinese black tea with a full body and yet not too heavy on tannins, lifted by sweet-tart blackberry. Fragrant, fruity and satisfying without losing its black tea backbone.

A berry nice blend for the black tea lover in your life. Feel awake and inspired as you traipse through a hidden orchard on a sweet spring afternoon, the sun warming your skin and a sweet, sticky aroma blossoming through the air.

This lively fusion pairs the bold, malty goodness of Chinese black tea with a touch of sweetness from tart blackberry leaves and whole freeze-dried blackberries for a truly indulgent fresh berry brew.

Fragrant, full-bodied, and oh-so-fruity.

OUR STORY

From market stall to leading tea retailer

The Art of Tea began in 2000 with twelve varieties, sold from a stall at Hobart's Salamanca Market every Saturday.

Twenty-five years on, we still blend by hand in small batches — right here in Tasmania, now with over 150 teas and herbal blends to explore.

Our family's favourite! Sometimes I will add it to a plain black tea for a hint of blackberry or (more often than not) we'll have it straight.

My “hard day at work” afternoon treat tea, I love it’s real blackberry taste with the dried berries. Perfect with a dash of milk.
