OUR STORY

From market stall to leading tea retailer

The Art of Tea began in 2000 with twelve varieties, sold from a stall at Hobart's Salamanca Market every Saturday.

Twenty-five years on, we still blend by hand in small batches — right here in Tasmania, now with over 150 teas and herbal blends to explore.

I've been looking for this tea for years. I used to buy one of this quality many, many years ago, but then couldn't get it anymore. All the ones I tried since then are faux vanilla, vanilla flavouring, but not real vanilla. The Vanilla Tea from Art of Tea uses real vanilla and is beautifully balanced. I only have two cups of caffinated tea a day and one of them is always my Vanilla Tea from Art of Tea. It is excellent!

Lovely tea

I buy the Vanilla tea in bulk once a year and have it posted interstate to me and its flavour and my enjoyment does not diminish over that time. Ive tried so many other vanilla teas but unfortunately none of them come close to this quality. The reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because last batch was weaker than usual and the batch went in half the time. However, this time it seems to be back to strength.

I've been drinking vanilla tea for over 30 years. Most vanilla tea has removed the vanilla, replacing it with vanilla flavourthing. The Art of Tea Vanilla Tea is better than the vanilla tea I started drinking all those years ago, and has real vanilla in it. The difference is huge! Thanks for sourcing such an amazing tea.

This is my absolute go to tea. I love the hint of vanilla, which is enough to add interest to the brew.

This is my absolute favourite tea. I love the subtle hint of vanilla.

Excellent flavoured tea and my go-to most days for a black tea. The hint of vanilla sweetness means I don't need to add sugar.
