Lemon myrtle (Backhousia citriodora) has been used by Aboriginal Australians for generations, both as food and medicine. Harvested from subtropical plants grown in Queensland, its bright green leaves carry a natural citrus zing.

We've blended this native leaf with high-quality, 100% Victorian-grown green tea to create a truly Australian cuppa. The green tea gives a gentle lift, light enough to enjoy well into the afternoon, while the lemon myrtle keeps every cup fresh and bright.

OUR STORY

From market stall to leading tea retailer

The Art of Tea began in 2000 with twelve varieties, sold from a stall at Hobart's Salamanca Market every Saturday.

Twenty-five years on, we still blend by hand in small batches — right here in Tasmania, now with over 150 teas and herbal blends to explore.

A very good tea, I like it more than the Jasmine varieties ( unless Sam can put more Jasmine in)!
